This month we spent three days with St. Stephen's Primary School in Manchester. You know it went well when you receive an (unprompted!) thank you card drawn by the children in reception.

In addition to our drumming sessions, St. Stephen's had also booked an African dance teacher to run sessions parallel to ours - a really nice guy called Oumar Alex Sagna @OumarAlex.
He was originally from Senegal, so we hit it off discovering the many African musicians and teachers that we knew in common! I had met many of these last time I was in Abene, Senegal.
